Finally...I got to do my first newborn boy!!! So Mom was given a gift certificate for a newborn shoot at her baby shower and the person who bought it for her told me straight up 'I think she was MOST excited about this gift!' It made my heart melt to think that someone was that happy to have pictures done and done by me nonetheless. I knew right from the beginning that it was a BOY and that made me just jump up and down because literally I have had ALL girls up until then. The excitement of getting to shoot a sweet little boy had my shopping heart in a frenzy!! I started picking some boy props up and every time something new arrived it was seriously like Christmas morning!!! EEEEKKK!!! The cuteness of it all! Well wouldn't you know that sweet little Jacob went past his due date and Mom was scheduled to be induced so she and I planned a date for the following week and I waited anxiously for the day of his shoot to arrive.
Mom and Dad were so freaking adorable! Young, sweet and totally in love with their new little man. This shoot went so well and they were troopers through it all. Here are some of what was captured of sweet little Jacob!
Jacob, Mom & Dad....you were the absolute BEST! I had such a nice time with the three of you! Thank you for making me feel so welcome! XO
On a side note.....I AM AN AUNTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sweet little Emily Grace came into the world on Sept 10th and to say I am completely smitten would be um, an understatement!!!!! Get ready, her shoot is next week!!!!! :) Here are a couple shots of her after I did a little Auntie shopping trip!!!!

SIGH...I can seriously look at her ALL DAY LONG!!! Also going to be working on her Birth Story/Hello World session. Chills...I get chills from getting the opportunity to have experienced that!
