Happy Memorial Day loves and thank you to all the men and women who have served our country and to those who still are!!! I hope everyone had a fantabulous weekend with friends, family & loved ones! We headed out on the road on a little road trip up to my parents' cabin in upstate New York. The boys were looking forward to fishing, the girls were ready for antique stores, shopping and relaxing!! The first day
or two left lots to be desired weather wise, but we made the best of it. I ate too much, drank too much and got little to NO exercise, which means I will be working out WAY MUCH this week and getting back on track eating wise!!! Who can really say NO to Cannoli Ice Cream!!!??? What the WHAT!!?? Not me!!! Totally worth it and we had a great time!
So the boys had one day of
non-existent not so good fishing and one day of GOOD fishing (well in the eyes of boys I guess it was good) I'm what you would call a GIRLY girl and fish don't do it for me, well not as much as sitting on a boat with a glass of vino and sight seeing do OR if I am eating the fish, now that TOTALLY does it for me! YUMMY!
Anywhooooo.....Momma, Hayley & I headed out to do a day of antique stores and this girl scored 4 vintage cameras!!!! Happy DANCE over here!!!! So I think between the boys and the girls we all had a very successful holiday weekend. My new 'baby' Bella, arrived RIGHT before we left out of town, so still in her box she was loaded into the car and I even got to test her out on a shoot with Hayley while we were there! So far.....sooooo GOOD! Fingers crossed, it's a lot more intense than my original camera so I have A LOT of reading to do. I see long baths in my future! I am thrilled with how the shoot turned out and can't wait to share them with you! We spent our last day by ourselves since Grammy & Pop Pop had to get back so we headed to the little beach town down the road, did some amusement rides, walked down to the beach and ate a yummy seafood dinner COMPLETE with shrimp, clams and hellllooooo FRIED PICKLES!!!! Ended the evening laughing our booties off playing a game of Outburst junior and now it's time to get back to reality. Back to work, back to editing, back to school....BACK TO LIFE! I have a couple calls to return this week and I am elated and super grateful for the faith you have in my work! I LOVE you all! muwahh! XO
