A Very Special Mommy & Me Session!

Hello my lovelies!!! It feels like I haven't been on here in awhile so I apologize, but this girl has been CRAZY LUCKY  B. U. S. Y.!!!!!!!! Whew, it's been one session after another and a TON of editing which of course equals a very happy ME! So the session I'm blogging today is a lady who is near and dear to my heart. She opened her heart, her support, her encouragement, and her guidance WITHOUT ever having met me. I was still living in Arizona and literally just starting out in photography. I had NEVER spoke to her, never met her, didn't know anything about her except that she was a photographer and from what I was told one of the nicest people EVER. (That would be an understatement to say the least) I was nervous, just starting out and completely OVERWHELMED. (um, yeah that too would be an understatement) Well I took a leap and reached out to her via everyone's 'favorite' social network and messaged her. I didn't hold my breath on the chance of me even getting a response, but HOLY COW, she messaged me back. It was from that day forward I knew I met someone special. 2+ years later, she has given me countless advice, second shot a wedding with me, encouraged me like no other, critiqued me when I definitely needed it, referred me to TONS of peeps and has become a true friend. I've said it before, if you are ever lucky enough to have such an amazing mentor/friend like I have hold on to him/her with everything in your soul because people like Lisa are few and far between. In such a cut throat biz like photography, seldom do you ever meet another photographer who truly wants to see you do well, is willing to share their knowledge and who is just a real honest and sincere person. Lisa I love you to pieces! Thank you for everything you have done for me and my business and thank you for trusting me to capture some of the sweetest moments between you and that beautiful daughter of yours. XO
