Bustamante Early Morning Fun!

This past Sunday morning was the start of my photo shoot frenzy. I had the privilege of photographing the lovely Bustamante Family. The background on this little family is that Mom (Geri) was referred to me by another client. Only to find out the morning of the shoot...our sons were in their 1st grade class together. It's a small small world.

We headed down to the Rancho lake bright and early and had to work against the sun, but still managed to get some great shots!!!

I did find out that the last time they had any professional photos done...Maya was a baby.....so they were way OVER DUE for this shoot!!! :)

They were great models and were willing to get right in there and try different shots!!

This was perfect for this family....they are full of love and full of fun!

 He reminded me sooo much of my little Casey....crazy little guy and a bundle of energy!

 Maya and Nick love to do piggy back rides, so this was ALL Maya's idea and Maya...good job! I LOVE this shot!!! :)

 Geri looks so beautiful here and her love for her little guy just seems to radiate in this picture!

 Maya made this sign 'Hi There I heart smiling 4 cameras' LOL

 Such a beautiful young lady!!!

After the lake we headed down to the railroad tracks for some more fun! (Dad was ecstatic! ;) LOL

I adore the vintage feel of this photo and the kiss just makes it that much more perfect!

Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Can you believe that the holiday weekend is O. V. E. R.!!!???  How does it go by soooo fast! hmph!  Well we had a great weekend!! It was full of family, friends, laughs, wine, card games and photo shoots!!!! I will be posting my 2 shoots from this weekend in the next few days. I had a super fantabulous shoot tonight that I can NOT wait to post but it has to be on the 'D L' since it's a Father's Day gift!!! I'm thinking he doesn't know about/won't be reading my blog so I think it will be safe to post it on here!!! Let's just say I can really use some more teenage clients with 'tude' to shoot!!! Sooo FUN!

Friday Miscellaneous FUN!

Friday!!! I thought you would NEVER come!!!! I spent all week editing photos and am F.I.N.A.L.L.Y. done!!! It felt good to be finished and put the final photos on their discs for my clients!

So I have to introduce you once again to the hilarious, gorgeous Garcia kids!!! I did a family shoot back in December for them, so when Mom (Shawna) asked me if I could do their recital pics I was OVER JOYED!!!
We met at a cute little park in our community right before sunset.

 The Sun was GORGEOUS!!!!

 This guy made it sooo EASY to shoot photos of him!!!!

 He's so quiet, but has such a fun sense of humor, his personality is just hilarious!

 Seriously...he could be a MODEL!!!

We are so close to this family, I can't even imagine them not being in our life!!

It was quite interesting when it came time for little sister's shoot....

 She is seriously STUNNING....but definitely was camera SHY!!!

 Once she relaxed and let her guard down we were able to capture so beautiful shots!

And because our life is NEVER normal and NEVER boring.....on Thursday I headed out eyeglass shopping with little man, Casey!!!! The back story to this is he failed his eye exam on his well visit check at the pediatrician....hellllloooo seriously, does this SURPRISE any one in. the. LEAST!!?? We as a family, hardly EVER leave an appt NORMAL and perfect! LOL....

Long story short we had a referral to a Pediatric Opthamologist and found out that he has NEVER been able to see out of his right eye!!! Wha WHAT!!!??? He himself, does NOT know he has a vision problem because he has only ever seen out of 1 eye!!! His right eye never "learned" to see so his brain turned it off and his other eye is 20/20 so his vision problem went undetected!!! (Are you starting to see why I enjoy WINE!!?? ;) He may or may not EVER regain vision in that eye, but we are going to give it a shot and do all that we can to try!

On Thursday we headed out eyeglass shopping....Here is a photo summary of that trip!!!

So I'm not sure why/how the glasses made the puckered lips/faces come out, but hey we had fun and he liked them, and that was all I cared about!!!!

Inspired by Trees & Co

On Saturday I was given the AMAZING opportunity to do a commercial shoot for a lovely lady starting her own company. She specializes in name place cards, invitations, stationary etc. It was a long HOT morning, but so fun and such a good experience.

We staged each shot before I took them and here is a sneak peek of what we ended up with. I couldn't be happier and I couldn't have asked for a better client!!! Thank you Erica!!! You are such a talented, sweet and genuinely nice person! It was a pleasure to work with you!!!
