The Wenner Wedding!!!

Finally I have some time to sit and write a post about my very FIRST wedding!!! To say I was a wee bit nervous would be an understatement, but I'm so proud that I sucked it up, got over it and not only made it thru the day with my gorgeous sister but produced some pretty beautiful photos to boot! WARNING: This is an obnoxiously photo HEAVY post...but it was wayyy tooo hard to choose photos!....I warned you! ;)

I woke up super EARLY the morning of the wedding...hey, a girl has to load up on her coffee, get some nutrition in her to keep her going, and just keep going over all the little notes in her head. ;)  After I completed all those necessary checks off my list, I headed over to the salon where the girls were having their hair and make up done.

My mini me/photog assistant...she was a trooper! Helped me lug my equipment around ALL.DAY.LONG!

The girls enjoyed Mimosas...that's the way every exciting morning should start!

After LOTS of laughs at the salon it was time to head back to Mom's house to get dressed and let the excitement of the day truly begin.

I ADORED the bridesmaids dresses that she chose!!

Samantha had talked to me a couple weeks before the wedding and was telling me how she REALLY wanted to do 'First Look' photos, so they had more time for photos, they got to see each other in private and just because it's what she wanted and well, hellloooo she is the BRIDE! :)  I was completely, totally on board with the First Look photos!! Especially since groom's family is humungo and I knew we would be pressed for time with photos after the ceremony. I am soooo ecstatic with how they turned out.

We could not have planned this more perfectly if we tried...this beauty came strolling right up to us!

After we were done with the First Looks it was time for the big moment....heading to the church for the I Do's!!!

Ok, so I have NEVER in my whole. entire. life, heard of NOT being able to take pictures during a ceremony, but yep, my first wedding and NO PHOTOGRAPHY during the ceremony at all, or she will "stop the ceremony"!! What the What!!!???? Ugh.!! Maybe others have heard of this rule, but I was completely taken aback. Anyway, I followed the rules, may have snapped 1 or 2 secret ones on the DL but other than that, I listened. Hi..I definitely did NOT want to be put on the spot with the ceremony stopped! That would definitely put a damper on my first wedding!

So after the ceremony, we loaded up on a tractor hay ride (yep, you read that right!) and headed to the groom's uncle's farm!!! To say that it was the most breathtaking, perfect location would be yet again, an understatement. Simply beautiful!

After the farm photos were thru it was over to the outdoor reception for the most casual, fun, laid back time EVER! I'm just going to leave you with a few of the 'details' from the reception since you are now completely, utterly, PHOTO OVERLOADED!!!!

I can't stop laughing over this cake topper!! Willy is a wild life biologist so he's passionate about hunting and anything with the outdoors!!! She found this topper on line and it's pure perfection!!!

Samantha owns a coffee shop, so this seems like just the right favor!
